From Liverpool
Using the A580 (the East Lancashire Road) is the easiest and probably the most direct route from
Liverpool. Follow signs for Manchester and the M6 Motorway.
You will eventually pass the main turnings for St Helens.
After these, you will reach the ‘Pewfall Junction’. You need to
be in the right-hand lane. Turn right onto the A58 (signposted St Helens).
At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Vicarage Road (A599).
You will pass a ‘Welcome to Haydock sign’ on your left.
You will come to a mini roundabout: bear left.
Continue on this road. At the traffic lights continue straight on.
You will come to a prominent Tesco store on your right: take the first exit from the
mini-island, going straight on along the main road.
At the next set of traffic lights continue straight on. You'll find the church almost
immediately on your right.
From the M6 Motorway
Leave the M6 at Junction 23. At the roundabout take exit marked A580, Liverpool
direction. Continue forward for about 1 mile. On the left you will see a
Travel Lodge, a Little Chef and a petrol station. Turn left here onto Piele Road.
You will pass a pub/restaurant called the Lymewood Farm on the right. At the
roundabout take the second exit and go straight on.
You'll come to a T junction with traffic lights: turn left. The church is almost immediately
on your right.
