Our celebration of the Great Bard took place on Friday 27th January this year, an evening enjoyed by all who attended. The diners responded with enthusiasm to the procession of the Haggis, and the Laird of the Feast declaimed the famous "Ode to the Haggis" with panache and aplomb - exceedingly impressive, though for most of us totally incomprehensible! After Haggis and a drahm, what could be better than a bit of Scottish country dancing? Much merriment and laughter! And at the end of the evening, the generosity of the diners produced a record £805 to be donated to our Mission Link Diocese in Ghana! Our thanks to all who worked so hard to make possible this gala evening, and to all who supported the effort so generously.
