International Choir Concert
article posted 22 March 2012
Warrington Male Voice Choir joined forces with a visiting choir from
Australia in a special event raising funds to
repair our Church roof. The music was magnificent and the roof was duly raised!

To say that the Concert was a resounding success is an understatement! As
well as being a splendid evening enjoyed by all it raised £3,347 - and this does
not include sales and donations after the event. For all of this, and to all who
worked so hard to make it happen, a very sincere “THANK YOU!”

Burns Night Supper
article posted 2 February 2012
On Friday 27th. January 2012 we held our annual Burns Supper.
In spite of a fierce throat infection, our doughty Laird presided at the feast
and gave the traditional Ode to the Haggis.
The Haggis Bearer
It was a sumptuous feast featuring
bashed neaps and tatties, and we did indeed experience some (almost)
Scottish dancing! Hilarious! And thanks to the generosity of all concerned,
the event raised over £450 to help support our restoration and renovation programme.
